Tax Manager – Corporate Tax Compliance (HK, Macau, Bermuda)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead corporate tax compliance for a leading insurer operating across Hong Kong, Macau and Bermuda. The role will combine technical tax expertise with strategic advisory to support the business’s growth and restructuring initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate tax compliance in Hong Kong, Macau and Bermuda, ensuring timely filing of returns and accurate tax provisions.
• Provide tax advisory support for new business initiatives, investments, corporate restructurings and cross‑border transactions.
• Prepare, review and sign‑off tax computations, deferred tax calculations and related financial‑statement disclosures.
• Analyse contracts, agreements and business proposals from a tax perspective to mitigate risk.
• Support transfer‑pricing compliance, documentation and reporting requirements.
• Assist with BEPS, Pillar Two and other international tax initiatives, including Global Minimum Tax.
• Coordinate with regional and group tax teams on multi‑jurisdictional tax matters.

Required profile

• CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of tax experience, preferably within insurance or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax regimes in Hong Kong, Macau and Bermuda.
• Experience with Global Minimum Tax (Pillar Two), transfer pricing and international taxation.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience managing multi‑jurisdictional tax compliance is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Oracle (tax or ERP) experience is an advantage.
