Technical Consultant (Presales)

About the role

The Presales Technical Consultant works closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the sales cycle. You will deliver tailored product demonstrations, qualify opportunities, and help expand existing deals by asking the right questions and showcasing solution value.

Key responsibilities

• Assist account and product managers with opportunity qualification by delivering pre‑sales technical support.
• Conduct deep‑dive product demonstrations and presentations for customers and partners.
• Provide training to partners on product solutions.
• Develop and refine technical responses to RFPs/RFIs.
• Coordinate and manage technical validation events and proof‑of‑concept (POC) assets.
• Represent the company at conferences, shows, and exhibitions as needed.
• Recommend and influence market content based on technical insights.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, UNIX administration) and experience with switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions such as SIEM, SecOps, PAM, EDR, and XDR.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex technology.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑motivated, flexible, and able to handle a high volume of unplanned requests.
• Effective communication with all management levels and sensitivity to stakeholder needs.
