About the role

A renewable 1-year contract position as Work Supervisor II at a steel fabrication plant in Tai Po, Hong Kong. The supervisor carries out specific tasks according to the checklist devised from AP/RSE/TCPs and works a full-time 6-day week.

Key responsibilities

Supervise, monitor and inspect the steel fabrication process and finished products
Carry out incoming inspection, monitoring and sampling of reinforcing steels
Coordinate and liaise with the client and the engineer
Handle non-conformities by referring them to the AP/RSE representative and notifying the TCPs

Required profile

Certificate in civil or geotechnical engineering with at least 2 years' experience, or a degree in civil/geotechnical engineering with at least 1 year's experience
Or passed the specified T1 Technically Competent Person training course under the Code of Practice for Site Supervision
Preferably experience in a steel cut and bend yard
Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a 6-day week
