Avaloq Business Analyst – Banking Solutions

About the role

Synpulse is looking for an Avaloq Business Analyst to join its banking consultancy team. You will work closely with clients, developers and other stakeholders to analyse requirements, design solutions within the Avaloq Core Banking System and support implementation and testing phases.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and document business requirements and processes.
• Evaluate scenarios and recommend optimal business and IT solutions.
• Design and document business solutions using Avaloq tools and methodologies.
• Participate in workshops and client meetings to validate solutions.
• Support system integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot issues and provide production support.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across locations.
• Maintain and improve Avaloq modules and components.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in banking or financial services is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Avaloq Core Banking System (certification a plus).
• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and relational databases.
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or a related field.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
• Fluent in English; Cantonese and Mandarin are a plus.
