Retail Construction Manager – Non‑Fuel Retail & Quality Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Retail Construction Manager who will lead non‑fuel retail projects and drive quality across a portfolio of commercial and retail sites in Hong Kong and Macau. The role combines project delivery, quality assurance and compliance responsibilities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead non‑fuel retail projects from planning through execution to close‑out.
• Manage project quality systems, processes and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with commercial, procurement, finance, operations and delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes.
• Oversee service providers and subcontractors performing field activities across multiple sites.
• Conduct regular site visits to review progress, quality performance, safety compliance and contractor activities.
• Monitor delivery against KPIs, schedules, budgets and quality standards.
• Support quality audits, inspections, corrective actions and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with internal standards, procedures and applicable regulations.
• Promote quality, safety, accountability and operational excellence.
• Support risk identification, mitigation and performance‑improvement programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management or a related discipline.
• 5‑10 years of experience in project management, construction management or design management.
• Experience managing project quality systems and quality‑assurance processes.
• Familiarity with retail, commercial or building environments.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
