Senior Consultant / Manager – Rewards & HR Transactions (People Consulting)

About the role

EY’s People Consulting team in Hong Kong is seeking experienced professionals to join as Senior Consultants or Managers focusing on rewards and HR transactions. The role involves advising clients on total reward strategies, executive remuneration and complex HR due‑diligence projects while working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor business trends and industry developments to shape client people strategies.
• Identify new opportunities and lead proposal development for reward engagements.
• Design and deliver innovative total‑reward solutions, including compensation, benefits and wellness programs.
• Conduct job evaluations, develop salary ranges and benchmark against market data.
• Provide coaching, feedback and performance guidance to junior team members.
• Engage C‑suite and senior stakeholders, presenting insights and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
• 5‑10 years of experience in total rewards, executive remuneration, HR transactions or HR due‑diligence, preferably in a professional services or large‑scale in‑house setting.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in English; Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.
• Experience working across multiple industries, including financial services.
