Senior Planning Manager (Up to $130,000 + bonus)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Manager to lead the development of integrated master programmes for large‑scale building and civil infrastructure projects in Hong Kong. The role involves overseeing tender programmes, schedule risk analysis and progress reviews while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation of integrated master programmes using Primavera P6 for major building and civil infrastructure projects.
• Develop tender programmes and construction methodologies for government and private sector bids.
• Conduct schedule risk analyses and devise mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate monthly progress reviews with project teams, clients and stakeholders.
• Identify potential delays, propose recovery plans and support claims preparation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors on programme matters.
• Maintain documentation in line with company and client standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of planning experience in building or civil engineering projects, including at least 8 years in a senior role with a Hong Kong main contractor.
• Proven experience on Hong Kong Government projects and major private developments.
• Professional qualification such as MHKIE, RPE, CIOB, PMP or equivalent is preferred.

Required skills

• Expert use of Primavera P6.
• Proficiency with MS Project.
• Experience with BIM 4D/5D planning and digital construction tools.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies for civil infrastructure works.
