Account Manager – Customer & Commercial

About the role

The Customer and Commercial department of Cathay Subsidiary Services is seeking an experienced Account Manager to oversee sales and key accounts for its subsidiaries. You will drive business growth, maintain strong client relationships, and support the development of commercial strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day account activities, coordinating with internal teams to meet revenue targets.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and high‑quality service.
• Identify client needs for long‑term planning and product development.
• Maintain regular contact with business partners and conduct review meetings.
• Participate in commercial negotiations, including pricing and service‑level agreements.
• Collaborate with central, operations, and finance teams to execute commercial plans.
• Provide sales forecasts and market insights for strategic decisions.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with appropriate follow‑up.
• Support the Business Development Manager in shaping short‑, medium‑ and long‑term commercial strategies.
• Execute ad‑hoc projects assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales or key‑account management experience, preferably in airline cargo, air freight or related industries.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong negotiation and contract‑management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
