Accountant – Controlling & Reporting

About the role

Jardine Restaurant Group is seeking a motivated Accountant to join its Controlling & Reporting team. The role will focus on month‑end closing, group reporting, statutory compliance and financial analysis, supporting the finance function across a fast‑growing food‑and‑beverage business.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, schedules and analyses for management reporting.
• Compile and submit Group Reporting packages on schedule.
• Review balance‑sheet schedules, investigate variances and unusual transactions.
• Handle fixed‑asset accounting, capital‑expenditure monitoring and related reporting.
• Assist in preparing statutory financial statements and support annual audits and tax compliance.
• Perform P&L, cost and expense variance analysis, providing insights for business performance.
• Collaborate with internal finance teams and cross‑functional stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with group policies, accounting standards and internal controls.
• Participate in process‑improvement, system‑enhancement and finance‑transformation projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 2‑5 years of relevant accounting or audit experience.
• Professional qualification (HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent) or progress toward it is an advantage.
