AI Engineer – Insurance Solutions

About the role

Capco is seeking an AI Engineer to join its Hong Kong team, focusing on building AI-driven solutions for the insurance sector. You will work on cutting‑edge technologies to create intelligent, scalable, and compliant applications that improve efficiency and customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Build multi‑agent workflows to optimise insurance business processes.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, model training, and deployment using Python frameworks.
• Train, fine‑tune and optimise neural network models, including LLMs, for use cases such as risk assessment and customer query resolution.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and business stakeholders to deliver production‑ready AI applications.
• Ensure models comply with banking regulations, data privacy standards and ethical AI practices.
• Monitor and maintain deployed solutions, troubleshooting and updating as needed.

Required profile

• 3–12 years of professional AI/ML engineering experience with a focus on software development and deployment.
• Hands‑on experience training and fine‑tuning neural network models, especially LLMs (e.g., GPT, BERT).
• Proven ability to build agentic solutions using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph or ADK.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud) for model deployment.
• Experience with version control (Git) and agile methodologies.
