Analyst/Associate, Financing Group, Global Banking, Asia Pacific

About the role

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking’s Financing Group in Asia Pacific is looking for an Analyst or Associate to support the growth of its regional financing franchise. The role offers exposure to a wide range of structured financing products across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Support origination, structuring and execution of financing transactions including infrastructure, project finance, acquisition/leveraged finance, real estate, asset finance, syndicated loans, DCM, fund finance and securitisation.
• Prepare financial analysis, models, credit assessments, rating considerations, comparable and sensitivity analyses, and transaction return calculations.
• Assist in creating client presentations, market updates, financing proposals, internal credit papers, committee materials and term sheets.
• Coordinate due‑diligence, internal approvals, documentation and closing activities with internal stakeholders and external advisers.
• Support syndication and DCM execution, analysing market conditions, pricing, investor feedback and distribution strategies.
• Monitor existing transactions, manage covenant compliance, waivers, amendments, refinancing opportunities and periodic credit reviews.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience for Analyst level or 3‑5 years for Associate in investment banking, capital markets, project finance, structured finance or leveraged finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and interest in multiple transaction types.
