Assistant Manager – Project Management (Office/Branch Renovation)

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to lead office and branch renovation projects for a leading international bank in Hong Kong. The role involves overseeing commercial and retail premises upgrades, ensuring they meet business requirements and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage renovation projects for commercial and retail premises, including premier branches and wealth management centres.
• Oversee project governance, tender processes, cost control, and internal approvals.
• Collaborate with the Project Lead to monitor vendor and consultant performance.
• Organise internal project meetings with business representatives and procurement teams.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and obtain necessary management approvals.
• Track and control project costs throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain project documentation and data for audit purposes.
• Promote green and sustainable practices in office and branch renovations.
• Handle ad‑hoc assignments and related projects as required.

Required profile

• University degree or higher with at least 5 years of experience in a multinational environment.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the banking or finance sector.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; capable of working independently.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
