Assistant Project & Maintenance Manager – Residential Property (Building Services)

About the role

The Assistant Project & Maintenance Manager will support the delivery, maintenance and improvement of electrical and mechanical (E&M) building services across residential properties managed by the corporation. This role coordinates maintenance activities, manages contracts, and contributes to new development projects while ensuring compliance with technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and improvement works on all E&M building services systems and facilities in residential properties, liaising with various stakeholders.
• Manage maintenance and works contracts, including design tasks, preparation of tender documents and drawings, and site inspections.
• Participate in new residential development projects by conducting technical vetting, testing and commissioning, and providing training to contractors.
• Coordinate handover of new properties, schedule activities, conduct defect inspections and functional tests, prepare defect reports, and verify handover documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.
• Corporate membership of a recognised professional institution.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese communication skills.
