Assistant Store Manager – Hong Kong International Airport

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support the Boutique Manager at our Hermès boutique located in Hong Kong International Airport. The role ensures smooth daily operations, high‑level customer service and drives sales performance in a luxury retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take charge of the store in the Boutique Manager’s absence, ensuring all company procedures are followed.
• Coordinate the rollout of central projects and tools, and assist in preparing monthly business and commission reports.
• Lead, coach and evaluate a team of sales associates, set objectives, organise training, and conduct morning briefings.
• Manage floor operations, allocate resources according to client flow, and support sales staff during the selling process.
• Monitor store performance metrics such as sales, stock levels and shrink, and help define action plans with the Retail Director.
• Maintain Hermès standards of customer service, greet clients, manage VIP relationships and handle level‑2 complaints.
• Oversee CRM activities and support client‑eling initiatives to grow the client portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven experience in luxury retail or boutique management, with the ability to step in for the store manager.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating a team and delivering clear briefings.
• Excellent organisational abilities to plan rosters, delegate tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Customer‑focused mindset, able to handle complex client situations and maintain high service standards.
• Analytical orientation to track sales data, stock levels and implement performance‑driving actions.
