Assistant Vice President / Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition

About the role

As an Assistant Vice President / Senior Manager in Human Resources, you will shape and execute end‑to‑end talent acquisition strategies that attract top hospitality professionals for the Shangri‑La Group. You will act as a strategic partner to hiring managers and ensure a seamless recruitment experience across corporate and operational functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of roles, from corporate positions to operational leadership.
• Advise hiring managers on market trends, interview techniques, and assessment tools.
• Build passive talent pipelines using social media, networking, and industry platforms.
• Utilize workforce analytics to monitor hiring KPIs and provide actionable insights.
• Oversee relationships with external search firms, agencies, and job boards to ensure ROI.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners to ensure smooth onboarding.

Required profile

• University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of talent acquisition experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in full‑cycle recruitment, executive search, and innovative sourcing.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
