Audio Visual Technician

About the role

The Audio Visual Technician supports the delivery of seamless AV experiences for banquet and meeting events at The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong. You will set up, operate, and maintain AV, projection, lighting, and conferencing equipment while ensuring guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Set‑up, operate, and troubleshoot all AV, projection, lighting, and conferencing equipment.
• Oversee AV equipment installation in banquet and meeting rooms and verify against the Banquet Event Order.
• Repair, clean, label broken equipment and communicate issues to supervisors.
• Manage cable routing, tape down and dress loose wires.
• Assist guests with equipment usage, upsell AV services, and monitor operation during events.
• Break down, secure, and store equipment after use.
• Follow Marriott Visual Productions SOPs, safety policies, and report any accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets, and uphold confidentiality.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related AV technician experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
