Co-op Internship 2027 - Distribution & Business Support (6 months)

About the role

Manulife's Co-op Internship Program offers a 6-month placement in its Business Development team, which supports agency growth through taskforces that plan, run and deliver programs improving agency effectiveness and engagement. The intern supports business development for the agency channel, focusing on content production, communications and campaign support, with hands-on experience making and managing agency materials including basic multimedia content.

Key responsibilities

• Join taskforces to plan, execute and implement agency-related programs and activities
• Create, edit and adapt materials for agencies, including product and campaign content
• Perform basic video cutting, editing and touch-ups for digital and/or social media
• Prepare content for campaigns, presentations and product promotion materials
• Carry out basic market or competitor research as needed
• Help coordinate, document and follow up on agency communications and campaigns
• Provide ad hoc project and administrative support

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Multimedia or a related field
• Creative mindset with attention to detail, interested in content production and communications
• Comfortable handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive, reliable and able to work with internal stakeholders
• Able to commit full time from July 2026 to December 2026

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and basic content creation tools
• Familiarity with simple video editing tools is an advantage

The internship is for the H1 2027 intake (January to June 2027); applications close on 1 November 2026 and are reviewed on a rolling basis. Working arrangement is in office.
