Contract Landscape Architect – Hong Kong

About the role

The Company seeks a qualified Landscape Architect on a contract basis to lead the supervision and technical coordination of landscape works across multiple communal and external areas. This role involves close collaboration with consultants, architects, structural teams and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of landscape elements with modular construction components.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall charge of landscape supervision and technical coordination for communal gardens, podium greenery, walkways, water features, boundary walls, external amenities, tree preservation and MiC modular façade‑landscape interface details.
• Liaise with landscape consultants, architectural/structural teams, tree specialists and subcontractors to resolve drawing clashes and sequencing conflicts.
• Accompany technical teams on overseas MiC factory visits, inspect prefabricated façade landscape components, and witness factory watertightness tests.
• Vet coordinated landscape drawings, planting plans, hardscape shop drawings and MiC façade component fabrication drawings; maintain a tracking log for submissions and revisions.
• Establish approval workflows for landscape materials, stonework, timber, water features and planting mock‑ups; supervise on‑site mock‑up acceptance.
• Prepare method statements, tree protection plans, seasonal planting programmes and supervision schedules; compile monthly progress reports and snag lists.
• Chair coordination meetings, document action items and ensure closure of all technical issues.
• Arrange inspections for concealed works, witness watertightness and load‑bearing tests, and handle design variations and tree relocation adjustments.
• Oversee compilation of as‑built drawings, O&M manual sections and factory completion certificates; liaise with relevant authorities for technical enquiries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from a recognised Hong Kong university.
