Currency Exchange Sales Consultant at Hong Kong International Airport

About the role

Join a dynamic, multicultural team at Hong Kong International Airport and deliver excellent customer service while driving sales of foreign currency products. You will use your product knowledge to identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities for travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Follow established sales processes, adhere to promotions, and flag suspicious transactions.
• Manage till operations, handle foreign currency cash, respect cash limits and forex regulations.
• Achieve key performance indicators and investigate any cash discrepancies.
• Comply with company, legal, airport authority, audit, risk, health & safety, security, and forex compliance policies.
• Maintain store presentation standards and support team success.
• Complete required training, process forex transactions accurately, and provide up‑to‑date exchange rates.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Retail, cash‑handling, currency‑exchange or banking experience.
• Good knowledge of foreign‑exchange operations, anti‑money‑laundering practices and relevant regulations.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including overnight, and adapt to different locations.
• Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer systems and currency‑exchange platforms.
