Demi Chef – Private Dining

About the role

The Demi Chef will support the Private Dining team in delivering high‑quality culinary experiences for guests at our Hong Kong property. You will work closely with senior chefs to prepare, cook, and present dishes that meet our exacting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients – portion, chop, wash, peel, weigh, measure and mix according to recipes.
• Cook and plate both hot and cold dishes, ensuring quality, presentation and temperature standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers safely.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work station, tools, knives and kitchen areas.
• Monitor food safety, conduct temperature checks and follow all company safety policies.
• Set up and break down stations, serve food in proper portions, and assist with station organization.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant kitchen experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 25 lb throughout the shift.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
• Professional appearance and commitment to confidentiality.

• Food safety and hygiene practices.
