Demi Chef - Western Banquet

About the role

The Demi Chef – Western Banquet will support the banquet kitchen in delivering high‑quality Western cuisine for events at our luxury property. You will work under the supervision of senior chefs, ensuring that all food is prepared, cooked, and presented to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring and mixing.
• Cook and assemble dishes according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Monitor food quality, test doneness, and ensure correct temperatures.
• Set‑up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions, and maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, reporting any hazards or incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant culinary experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb and perform repetitive motions.

Required skills

• Food preparation and ingredient handling.
