Director, Customer Success, Risk – APAC

About the role

LSEG is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial leader to head its Risk Intelligence Customer Success Management team for APAC. You will champion customer advocacy, manage the customer lifecycle and ensure retention across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Mitigate retention risks by developing deep product expertise within the team.
• Represent regional priorities and amplify the Voice of the Customer at global product leadership level.
• Instill partnership and up‑skill a relatively new regional team to improve cross‑market cohesion.
• Embed accountability through the LSEG global Customer Success model and collaborate with team members.
• Serve on both APAC Customer Success and APAC Sales & Account Management leadership teams, focusing on retention, usage and lead generation.
• Navigate market pressures from budget constraints and industry dynamics by developing mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 8+ years of people‑leadership experience in risk, compliance or screening due‑diligence workflows within financial services.
• Seasoned mentor and coach capable of developing managers and identifying talent.
• Highly strategic with the ability to align functional priorities to commercial objectives.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, able to adapt style to audience and purpose.
• Natural collaborator who can drive customer advocacy and influence cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of risk, compliance and screening due‑diligence processes in financial institutions.
• Strong financial competence and understanding of operational efficiency.
• Ability to apply data‑driven insights to improve client experience and customer lifecycle.
