Field Service Engineer I – Building Automation

About the role

Honeywell is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to promote and deliver Honeywell and third‑party maintenance solutions. You will work directly with customers, manage retrofit projects, and ensure high levels of satisfaction through on‑site service and technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Identify business opportunities and promote Honeywell solutions to customers.
• Manage project budgets, financial control, and resource planning.
• Lead system testing, commissioning, and retrofit projects for Honeywell and third‑party equipment.
• Coordinate subcontractors, negotiate with suppliers, and oversee site progress.
• Perform emergency call duties outside normal hours and propose improvements to reduce repeat calls.
• Deliver technical training to employees and external customers.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or related discipline).
• Minimum 2 years of project/maintenance experience for degree holders (or equivalent experience for diploma holders).
• Proven track record in project management and strong customer‑service orientation.
• Willingness to work overtime, travel to Macau, and handle emergency calls.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Honeywell systems or similar building control and extra‑low‑voltage products.
• Knowledge of cloud/IOT connectivity (advantage).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional.
• Software programming and computer system networking experience.
