Freelance Game LQA Tester Chinese to English

About the role

TransPerfect Games is seeking freelance Game Localization QA (LQA) testers who are native Chinese speakers with strong English proficiency. You will work on a variety of titles, from indie projects to AAA releases, ensuring that localized content meets linguistic and functional quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, isolate, document, and verify localization and linguistic issues using test tools and databases.
• Execute test cases and checklists to perform targeted functional and linguistic testing.
• Write clear bug reports that follow company standards and client specifications.
• Provide feedback on gameplay, fun factor, and game balance based on target‑market preferences.
• Collaborate with partner teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Proactively look for gaps in test coverage and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Regular FPS game player with a passion for the video‑games industry.
• Native‑level proficiency in English (excellent spelling and grammar).
• Prior LQA experience on FPS games.
• Availability to work largely within China Standard Time (UTC+8) core business hours.
