Graduate Engineer – Building & Civil Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a recent graduate in Building or Civil Engineering to join our Hong Kong construction team. The role provides daily technical support on site and exposure to modular integrated construction (MiC) processes, including factory visits and on‑site inspections.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to site management and structural engineers for architectural, structural and MiC modular works.
• Accompany senior supervisors on overseas MiC factory inspections, checking dimensions, reinforcement, concrete and witnessing material tests.
• Maintain site records, inspection logs, material samples, test certificates, progress data and snag lists.
• Verify setting‑out, formwork, reinforcement, concreting and precast elements against approved drawings and specifications.
• Assist with concealed work inspections, sampling arrangements, safety and environmental monitoring documentation.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and technical documents for on‑site and off‑site MiC mock‑ups.
• Attend weekly safety walks, coordination meetings and MiC production meetings, taking minutes.
• Liaise with subcontractors and foremen to resolve minor technical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Building or Civil Engineering from a recognised Hong Kong tertiary institution.
• Fresh graduate or less than two years post‑graduation experience.
• Ability to read architectural, structural and MiC shop drawings.
• Competent written and spoken Chinese and English; fluent Cantonese.
• Basic site safety awareness and willingness to obtain a Green Card and relevant safety certificates.
• Availability for standard site hours, occasional overtime and overseas factory trips.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
