Head of Operations, Asia

About the role

Linklaters, a global law firm with offices in 20 countries, is looking for a Head of Operations, Asia. The role sets the vision, strategy and KPIs for regional operations, oversees security and business continuity, manages regional budgets and leads the workplace, vendor and project management across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Define the vision, strategy, objectives and KPIs for regional operations, and oversee security and business continuity implementation
• Manage and optimise regional office budgets and oversee regional resources, while upholding global policy compliance across offices
• Engage top-tier experts for advisory and execution purposes
• Plan space occupancy, design employee engagement initiatives, improve visitor experience and integrate technology solutions
• Negotiate, execute and administer leases with the Global Real Estate function and recommend more effective use of space
• Spearhead regional vendor management, standardise contracts, review vendor performance and build strategic partnerships
• Coordinate office relocation, renovation and construction projects and promote best practices across regions

Required profile

• 10+ years of regional operations leadership, ideally in professional services or large global matrix organisations
• Strong track record in facilities and workplace management, including office moves, redesigns and vendor relationships across multiple countries
• Experience leading employee and visitor experience initiatives and managing multi-million operational budgets
• Experience in contract negotiation, vendor performance and service level governance
• Excellent stakeholder management and proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
