Human Capital Generalist – Hong Kong

About the role

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Human Capital Generalist to manage day‑to‑day HR operations for its Hong Kong office. You will support the employee lifecycle, payroll, benefits and HRIS while partnering with Talent Management to ensure a high‑quality employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily HR support to employees and managers, handling onboarding, off‑boarding, status changes and general queries.
• Coordinate payroll and benefits administration with external vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS, ensure compliance with Hong Kong statutory requirements, and support HR policy implementation.
• Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging AI, automation and digital tools to reduce manual work.
• Support employee relations matters, escalating complex cases to the HC Manager and collaborating with Legal, Finance and IT as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of HR operations experience in a multinational or matrixed environment.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate work in a fast‑paced setting.
• Good knowledge of Hong Kong employment law and statutory HR requirements.
• Proactive mindset with interest in process improvement and automation.

Required skills

• Workday or other HRIS platforms (experience preferred).
• Microsoft Office suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.
