Human Resources Manager – Global Asset Management Firm

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead ActusRayPartners’ HR function and employee lifecycle, partnering with senior management to support business growth, workforce planning, culture, and organisational development across a global workforce in Hong Kong and Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior management on HR strategy, workforce planning and organisational development.
• Build and maintain a high‑performance culture across a global workforce.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, employee retention and visa/immigration processes.
• Manage the employee lifecycle including hiring, mobility, promotions, transfers and terminations.
• Oversee employee relations, performance management and career development.
• Administer compensation, benefits, payroll and reward programmes.
• Drive learning and development initiatives to support employee growth and leadership capability.
• Maintain HR policies, procedures, systems and employee records while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 7+ years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong employment law; Australian law advantageous.
• Broad generalist HR experience covering recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits and HR operations.
• Experience within a regulated financial services environment and supporting a global workforce.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat.
• Native‑level written and spoken English.
