In‑Room Dining Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role
As In‑Room Dining Manager you will lead a 24‑hour operation that delivers the hotel’s celebrated culinary experience to every guest room and suite. You will own the guest experience, the team and the financial results, working closely with Culinary, Rooms and Guest Relations to provide personalized, anticipatory service at any hour.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of in‑room dining, ensuring seamless service across order taking, kitchen coordination, delivery, set‑up and tray retrieval.
- Develop and enforce policies, processes and service standards to boost guest satisfaction and meet Four Seasons Core Standards, LQA and Forbes Travel Guide criteria.
- Manage the In‑Room Dining P&L, including revenue, average check, labour cost, cost of sales and equipment, and provide forecasts and budget input.
- Drive revenue through upselling, menu updates and collaboration with the Executive Chef on menu engineering.
- Recruit, onboard, schedule and coach the team, monitoring performance and delivering development plans.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints and VIP requests, using guest history to personalize service.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, Hong Kong FEHD licensing, food safety, hygiene and occupational health standards.
- Control inventory, maintain delivery equipment and manage POS and digital ordering systems.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in food and beverage within a luxury hotel; in‑room dining experience preferred.
- Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Solid financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting and labour scheduling.
- Knowledge of food safety, HACCP and Hong Kong food licensing regulations.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Hospitality Management diploma or degree preferred.
Required skills
- Proficient use of hotel POS and property management systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Working knowledge of HACCP and Hong Kong food licensing requirements.
