IT Audit Manager (SAP) – Audit & Assurance

About the role

KPMG’s Audit practice is looking for an experienced IT Audit Manager to lead SAP‑focused audit engagements in Hong Kong. You will provide independent assurance and advisory services, ensuring that SAP‑supported processes, security, and controls meet financial reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on SAP audit activities, including implementation reviews and control testing.
• Lead SAP risk assessments, data extraction, and integration with GRC tools.
• Advise clients on control considerations during system implementations and post‑audit remediation.
• Design, develop and test automated SAP controls and configurations.
• Perform walkthroughs, document findings and identify IT‑related dependencies.
• Continuously improve audit methodology, tools and productivity.
• Support scoping, financial management, delivery risk management and review of deliverables.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT and SAP audit or business process controls.
• Proven experience with SAP GRC Process Control and both automated and manual SAP controls.
• Prior experience leading projects, managing budgets and resources.
• Relevant certifications preferred (CISA, CISSP, CISM, PMP, CPA, CIA).
