Junior Cook – Spanish Tapas Kitchen

About the role

We’re now looking for an energetic Junior Cook to join Calle Ocho, an innovative Spanish tapas restaurant in the retail epicentre of Causeway Bay. You will set up the kitchen, support senior chefs during service and work across hot, cold and tapas production sections, assembling dishes to high standards in a timely fashion. This role offers fast‑track career progression in an internationally diverse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up work sections for service.
• Prepare hot and cold dishes.
• Support senior chefs and colleagues as needed.
• Follow health and hygiene procedures.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness according to standards at all times.

Required profile

• At least 1 year experience in a kitchen.
• Genuine interest in cooking.
• Positive attitude with a teamwork mindset.
• Strong sense of responsibility.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
• Embodies behavioural values: teamwork, be nice, commitment, positivity.
