Key Account Manager – Maritime Sales (Hong Kong)

About the role

The client, a leading multinational maritime corporation, is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive sales growth across Hong Kong. You will focus on marine spare parts, equipment services, and long‑term service agreements, acting as the primary partner for shipowners, ship managers and maritime operators.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales tactics and action plans to meet and exceed sales budgets.
• Plan and conduct regular customer visits, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Monitor installed‑base data, promote service contracts, follow up on quotes and drive aftermarket solutions.
• Collect client feedback, track competitor activity and identify cross‑selling opportunities.
• Track order fulfillment, manage delivery timelines, escalate technical support needs and oversee account receivables.
• Prepare timely visit reports and collaborate with internal teams on assigned projects.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of commercial or account management experience in the marine, shipping or offshore sectors in Hong Kong.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marine Studies, Business or a related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of the Hong Kong shipping landscape and an established client network.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Self‑driven, customer‑focused with strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
