Lead Infra Analyst – Linux & Kubernetes (Servers)

About the role

The Lead Infra Analyst will own and support the Linux and container infrastructure that runs on VMware Tanzu. This senior position combines project delivery with day‑to‑day BAU operations, ensuring a reliable 24x7 service for critical server environments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop Linux infrastructure across physical, virtual and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Provide L1‑L3 server support and manage software upgrades, patches and hot‑fixes.
• Create and modify automation scripts and applications to improve stability, security and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design automation and deployment pipelines.
• Support weekend changes, on‑call rotations and disaster‑recovery drills.
• Manage physical servers, virtual machines in ESX farms and AWS, including provisioning and de‑commissioning.
• Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning and troubleshoot incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience as a Linux Administrator with cloud exposure.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and fluent communication in English (Chinese is a plus).
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and capable of learning cross‑skill technologies.

Required skills

• Linux (RedHat) administration – physical and virtual.
• VMware Tanzu, ESX, and SAN management.
• Kubernetes / OpenShift container platforms.
• Cloud services – AWS and Azure.
• Automation tools – Ansible.
• Scripting – Shell, Perl, Python.
• Experience with HPE server hardware.
• Knowledge of Docker, containers, Veritas Cluster and Storage Foundation.
• Familiarity with monitoring and management tools such as BigFix, OneView, ITRS, ServiceNow, SCOM and CyberArk.
