Legal Compliance Manager – Hong Kong

About the role

Anton Oilfield Services Group is seeking an experienced Legal Compliance Manager to support its innovative, transformational and research‑oriented projects, with a strong focus on overseas initiatives. The role will be based in Hong Kong and will work primarily in English.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support for major contract projects, delivering research, analysis and advice on innovation, business model transformation and oil‑industry legal issues.
• Monitor and inspect compliance with laws, regulations and company policies, report violations and propose corrective actions.
• Assist corporate governance and equity‑structure design, supporting M&A, investment activities, capital increases and share expansions; draft and review legal documents for group entities.
• Conduct scheduled legal training sessions to communicate compliance requirements and raise legal awareness across the organization.
• Lead comprehensive compliance reviews of cross‑border operations, including commercial transactions, investments, trust management and intellectual property.
• Manage cross‑border compliance disputes, regulatory investigations and commercial disputes, coordinating with external law firms and agencies.
• Engage with local regulatory authorities to fulfil statutory filing and inspection obligations.

Required profile

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing the group’s legal and compliance management.
• Lead compliance reviews throughout the lifecycle of international operations.
• Manage disputes, investigations and coordinate external counsel.
• Organise and lead group‑wide legal and compliance training programmes.
• Work primarily in English and maintain thorough documentation of risk‑resolution processes.
