Manager / Senior Consultant – Executive Compensation

About the role

Mercer is looking for a talented Manager / Senior Consultant to join its Executive Compensation Consulting team in Hong Kong. This hybrid position requires at least three days per week in the office and offers exposure to a range of consulting projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead small to mid‑size consulting projects and develop client presentations and deliverables.
• Gather executive pay data using Mercer’s proprietary tools and public sources, providing insights on compensation trends.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, including advanced Excel modeling and statistical techniques.
• Support business development by maintaining client relationships, prospecting new clients, and following up on leads.
• Conduct external research on industry trends, company news, and competitor landscapes.
• Coach and mentor junior team members, reviewing work and brainstorming solutions.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in executive compensation, total rewards, management consulting, finance, HR or accounting.
• Strong analytical abilities, flexibility, and the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
