Marketing & Communication Executive – Banking (Up to $32k/month)

About the role

Our client is looking for a skilled Marketing/Communication Executive to manage the day‑to‑day operations of an interactive customer community for a leading bank. The community provides Mainland customers with an online platform to share banking experiences in Hong Kong, co‑create journeys, and promote advocacy through word‑of‑mouth marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Review posts and comments published by community members on a daily basis.
• Respond to customer posts and answer simple, unauthenticated inquiries.
• Monitor incidents and complaints, escalating them as appropriate.
• Share engaging posts on banking topics that interest Mainland customers.
• Compile a monthly newsletter with a member‑activity dashboard.
• Create engagement activities to maintain member interest and participation.

Required profile

• University degree holder.
• 3–5 years experience in social‑media content management within the banking sector.
• Excellent verbal communication in Putonghua and Cantonese, and written Chinese (simplified & traditional) and English.
• Strong understanding of Mainland China social‑media trends and popular culture, with a good sense of humor.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
