Private Household Chef – Indian & International Cuisine

About the role

We are seeking a professional Chef to join a private household in Hong Kong. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, personalized meals with a strong emphasis on Indian cuisine while also covering a range of international dishes. Discretion, reliability and a commitment to long‑term collaboration are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and present breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks daily, adapting menus to family preferences and dietary needs.
• Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Develop new dishes, adapt existing recipes and accommodate special dietary restrictions.
• Prepare occasional meals for guests and coordinate with household staff for events.
• Adjust working hours flexibly to match the family’s schedule.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Chef in private households.
• Strong menu‑planning and food‑presentation skills, especially in Indian and diverse international cuisines.
• Knowledge of nutrition, special diets and ability to meet dietary restrictions.
• Discreet, trustworthy, service‑oriented and respectful of privacy.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing schedules and maintain high standards under pressure.
• Relevant culinary education or certification preferred.
• Fluency in English and/or Hindi; familiarity with Hong Kong markets is a plus.
