Product Owner – Investments

About the role

GoTymeX is looking for a Product Owner to lead the Investments pod, shaping the roadmap and delivery of trading products that blend retail banking, capital markets and crypto. You will own the backlog, drive sprint cadence and ensure regulated consumer financial products meet the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product backlog end‑to‑end, translating propositions into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria while prioritising time‑to‑market, regulatory constraints and customer value.
• Define and manage the full trading lifecycle experience for stocks, crypto and future asset classes, covering onboarding, funding, order placement, execution, portfolio reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with brokers, liquidity providers, custodians and market‑data vendors, treating each as part of the user experience and managing integration, SLAs and commercial discussions.
• Set product KPIs (activation, funded accounts, trading volume, retention, revenue per user), run experiments and use data‑driven insights to guide future development.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product ownership or product management experience delivering consumer‑facing, regulated financial products.
• Hands‑on experience launching and scaling traditional assets (stocks, ETFs, funds) and crypto/digital‑asset solutions.
• Proven ability to work in multi‑vendor, API‑first environments and to navigate compliance, risk and regulator expectations across jurisdictions.
• Self‑starter with a “founder” mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and biased toward shipping.

Required skills

• Agile product discipline with clear user stories, acceptance criteria and prioritisation.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence or equivalent collaboration tools.
• Technical literacy to review API documentation, sketch sequence diagrams and engage cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Experience using AI tooling as a default in product workflows.
