Regional Financial Controller – Finance Operations Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Financial Controller to lead finance operations across multiple Asian and European markets. You will partner directly with senior leadership, delivering accurate reporting, strategic analysis, and robust financial controls while supporting the firm’s growth trajectory.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional financial reporting, month‑end close, and control activities.
• Prepare board packs, management reports, and financial analyses for senior stakeholders.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Oversee audit, tax, regulatory and statutory compliance across all markets.
• Maintain and enhance finance systems, reporting tools, and data‑governance processes.
• Drive process improvements to increase reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Support treasury functions, cross‑border financing, funding, capital allocation and cash management.
• Partner with regional teams to strengthen financial controls and reporting standards.
• Provide guidance to a small finance team while staying hands‑on with day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with CPA qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of accounting and finance experience covering operations, reporting, process improvement and business partnering.
• Experience in lean, regional or entrepreneurial environments is a plus.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable and collaborative.
