Security Operations Manager (Threat Assessment & Communications)

About the role

Disney is hiring a Security Operations Manager based on Lantau Island, Hong Kong, responsible for threat assessment and communications within its security operations. The role works closely with internal stakeholders, other Disney security operations centres and external agencies such as local authorities, and supports crisis management during incidents or peak periods.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, analyse and assess security- and safety-related information from internal sources, external partners, vendors and open-source platforms
• Partner with internal stakeholders, other Disney security operations centres and external agencies including local authorities
• Evaluate and implement technologies that improve information gathering, reporting, communications and operational coordination
• Train, coach and develop team members to maintain high professional, analytical and communication standards
• Support crisis management and time-critical decision-making during incidents or peak operational periods

Required profile

• University degree required; a postgraduate qualification in security, information management or emergency management is preferred
• At least 7 years of experience in the security field, with exposure to security operations and communication centres; practical understanding of a Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) is an advantage
• Experience managing teams of 10+ people is an advantage
• Trilingual proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
• Ability to handle sensitive or classified information with discretion
