Senior Associate – Markets Non-Financial Risk (Hong Kong)

About the role

This role drives the management of non‑financial risk across the Hong Kong Markets business, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk management standards and regulatory expectations. It plays a critical part in strengthening governance, reporting, and risk structures to support effective risk management and informed decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the management of non‑financial risk governance and oversight in line with enterprise standards and regulatory obligations.
• Design and implement divisional governance matters, including attestations, aggregated risk profiles, risk reviews and risk issues.
• Support the governance and oversight of divisional and cross‑divisional thematic reviews and internal audits.
• Provide actionable, data‑driven insights with a focus on the end‑to‑end customer journey to inform decision‑making and governance.
• Oversee escalations and ensure timely resolution of key risk or governance issues, escalating to team leads when appropriate.
• Coordinate effectively with enterprise and divisional stakeholders to maintain alignment, consistency, and clarity.
