Senior Consultant – Physical Security

About the role

Arup is seeking a Senior Consultant to act as a client liaison during project delivery and help grow the business in East Asia. You will demonstrate deep knowledge of the security marketplace and leverage established contacts across the APAC region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Threat & Vulnerability Risk Assessments (TVRAs) for built‑environment projects.
• Create Security Protection Plans and assist in planning physical and electronic security measures.
• Support delivery of technical services, liaise with subject‑matter experts, and manage commercial, technical and programme aspects of security projects.
• Occasional business travel as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Security & Risk Management, Electronic Engineering, Political Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as an in‑house security manager, disciplined services provider, vendor or consultant in the security industry.
• Overseas work experience in Asia is an advantage.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional Asian language is a plus.
