Senior Retail Training Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Retail Training Officer to lead the development and delivery of training programmes for our retail teams. The role focuses on enhancing staff performance through on‑site coaching, product and service training, and the creation of e‑learning resources.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Retail Training Manager in identifying training needs across store operations.
• Contribute to the design of the annual training plan to drive business results.
• Provide on‑site coaching and support to store staff, improving performance and customer service.
• Lead product, service, and orientation training sessions aligned with company objectives.
• Execute the Retail Management Trainee Program and monitor mentor‑mentee progress.
• Maintain accurate training records, tracking attendance, progress, and participant feedback.
• Develop and update e‑learning materials to enable flexible learning options.
• Communicate training schedules, content, and expectations to staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the retail industry.
• Proven experience designing and delivering training workshops.
• Excellent facilitation, presentation and coaching skills.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Word (including Chinese word processing)
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Strong ability with Microsoft PowerPoint
• Knowledge of video editing tools
