Senior Support Analyst – End User Services (Hong Kong Trading Floors)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and customer‑focused Senior Desktop Support professional to provide dedicated end‑user support for our Hong Kong trading floors. The role involves supporting front‑office users and ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of desktop technologies and market‑data applications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide dedicated technical support for trade‑floor users, including onboarding, joiner setup and leaver de‑provisioning.
• Support, troubleshoot and maintain Bloomberg, Refinitiv and other market‑data platforms, managing licenses and vendor relationships.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot desktop systems, peripherals, operating systems (Windows, macOS) and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Coordinate procurement of PCs, peripherals and End‑User Services equipment and maintain IT asset inventory.
• Participate in business continuity planning testing and deliver on‑call support during critical trading hours.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application teams and external vendors to resolve complex issues and ensure compliance with IT security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 5‑8 years of desktop support experience, preferably in financial services or investment banking.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced trading‑floor environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Bloomberg, Refinitiv and other market‑data products.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365.
• Basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ITIL service‑management processes.
• Video‑conferencing setup and presentation support.
