Senior Tax Manager - Finance Central Function

About the role

The Bank Group is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to lead its corporate tax compliance and advisory activities within the Finance Central Function. You will ensure timely filing, maintain tax governance, and act as the primary tax representative in external meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review annual corporate tax compliance for the entire Bank Group.
• Maintain and update the tax governance framework and related policies.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the Bank Group.
• Draft and submit responses to tax authority enquiries.
• Provide tax advisory services, including data gathering, analysis, stakeholder engagement, and risk evaluation.
• Supervise staff to keep accurate tax records and handle ad‑hoc tasks.
• Support transfer‑pricing matters and BEPS compliance initiatives.
• Represent the Bank Group in external tax meetings and forums.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the banking sector or a Big 4 firm.
• Professional qualification such as HKICPA; HKIB is an advantage.
• Independent, proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, team player with risk awareness.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese; Putonghua is a plus.
