Site Reliability Engineer – Trading (HKD 700k‑1.2M + Bonus)

About the role

Our client, a leading FinTech trading firm, is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to manage and enhance their low‑latency Linux infrastructure. The position blends Linux systems engineering with SRE practices, focusing on automated, scalable deployments across private and public clouds.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and support automated solutions for scalable deployment of low‑latency Linux workloads.
• Maintain and optimise Linux estates in both private and public cloud environments.
• Work on project initiatives as well as day‑to‑day operational (BAU) tasks, driving automation wherever possible.

Required profile

• Strong background in Linux systems engineering and site reliability engineering.
• Experience with low‑latency trading environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Linux
• Chef, Puppet or Ansible
• Kubernetes, Docker or Podman
• CI/CD pipelines
• Python scripting

Desirable skills

• Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Helm, Pulumi, Bicep
• Data‑replication or blob storage technologies (e.g., DRBlock, Blob Storage)
• High‑performance computing (HPC) concepts

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from HKD 700,000 to HKD 1,200,000 per year, plus bonus.
