Sr Field Service Technician

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Sr Field Service Technician to deliver on‑site service, installations, calibrations and repairs for our scientific equipment. You will act as the primary technical liaison with customers, ensuring high‑quality support and a positive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Thermo Fisher professionally with internal and external customers.
• Own service commitments, performing installations, calibrations, preventative maintenance, training and repairs.
• Provide on‑site services within agreed conditions and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Document and report service activities for internal and customer records.
• Build strong customer relationships to maintain high satisfaction.
• Optimize the use of tools and consignment parts.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives through the Practical Process Improvement Business System.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 0‑1 year of relevant field service experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English; Chinese proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and collaborate with teammates.
• Strong electrical or mechanical background for troubleshooting and repair.
• Proficiency with PC applications, including MS Office and Outlook.
