Supervisor II – Infrastructure Maintenance (Railway)

About the role

The role involves leading a frontline technical team and contractors to deliver track and civil‑related maintenance, renewal and modification works for the railway infrastructure, ensuring programme schedules and safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of frontline technical and contractor staff to carry out track, civil‑related maintenance, renewal and modification activities in line with programme schedules and required standards.
• Conduct rail failure investigations and recovery operations, including regular track inspections and monitoring of equipment performance.
• Direct and supervise emergency recovery, allocating resources and tools to meet assigned tasks and scheduled activities.
• Perform land and engineering survey activities for track works, collect on‑site measurements of track alignment, advise on re‑alignment, and prepare survey reports.
• Liaise with relevant parties to confirm possession during non‑traffic hours.

Required profile

• Higher Diploma or Higher Certificate in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience in railway maintenance or construction is an advantage.
• Willingness to work shift duties and operate under adverse weather and emergency situations.

Required skills

• Track inspection and equipment performance monitoring.
