Design Engineer or Assistant Design Engineer – Foundation Projects

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, self‑motivated, detail‑oriented Design Engineer (or Assistant Design Engineer) to join our professional design team, delivering high‑quality engineering designs for foundation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structural and geotechnical designs and provide technical support for foundation projects and tenders.
• Prepare design submissions (including foundation, ELS, and pile cap) to statutory departments such as BD and ArchSD.
• Collaborate closely with project and site teams; attend site visits as necessary to coordinate design implementation and resolve technical challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant design experience for the Design Engineer role; candidates with less experience or fresh graduates may apply for the Assistant Design Engineer position.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).
• Proactive learning attitude, strong sense of responsibility and solutions‑oriented work ethic.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach.
• Highly self‑disciplined, detail‑oriented and capable of working independently under pressure.
