Technician – Facility Operations

About the role

AsiaWorld-Expo is seeking a proactive Technician to support the set‑up, operation and maintenance of all facilities and equipment across its venues. The role ensures that all building systems meet safety standards and that events run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, implementation and upkeep of all venue facilities and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of building components, update maintenance records and perform routine and ad‑hoc repairs.
• Coordinate and monitor contractor work quality, carrying out post‑completion inspections.
• Standby during events, communicate with relevant parties, and respond to emergency calls or system failures.

Required profile

• Secondary school education or higher.
• Minimum three years of experience in building operations, maintenance, building services or event‑support work.
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently.
• Well‑organized, self‑motivated, able to multitask, responsible and capable of meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
• Knowledge of building engineering, building services or event‑operations maintenance.
• Willingness to work shift duties as required.
